Nancy Tanner, who owns Paws and People, is a vendor at the market along with her 2 children. Here is what Nancy said about the market helping her children: “My oldest daughter paid for 1/2 of her 8th grade Europe trip by working at the market for the past 2 summers. She worked hard and was committed and it afforded her a trip of a life time. Now she is committed to doing this to help pay for a study abroad program in high school. Her younger brother is just now seeing how his work is paying off and is starting to save for his 8th grade trip. Because of the opportunities the Gallatin Valley Farmers’ Market has provided for my children, they have been learning a great deal about work, life and the pay offs from commitment, so thank you!
